  Litters 2008 
Merlin proudly announces the birth of his latest litter and the impending birth of a second litter. He is still our "perfect child" and as handsome as ever as he approaches his eleventh birthday. Merlin continues to be very active. He is addicted to retrieving his favourite kong or ball, swimming after the ducks on our poodle pond and flushing out pheasants and quail. The perfect dog has a perfect life!
Daisey, our sweet cream colored caniche poodle, imported from Germany gave birth May 19, 2008. Mother, five sons and four daughters are all doing well. There are three cream girls and one silver girl. Three silver boys and two cream boys. Most of her babies are full size poodles. Please note, as legislated by most countries of the world, these are natural poodles with undocked tails and dew claws.
Daisey's puppies settle down for a nap after being well fed and thoroughly bathed by Mom. Already they are enjoying having tails to wag.
Polly, from Sweden is a beautiful blue (charcoal gray) with a sweet nature. After completing her health tests she was bred to Merlin. Polly is three years old and this is her first litter.Polly gave birth to nine puppies May, 26. She has two silver/blue boys , three silver/blue girls and four cream girls. Polly is an excellant mother and her puppies are growing rapidly.Daisey's puppies have doubled in size and their eyes are open. All the creams have black noses and dark skin.
Polly is a very fussy mother, she insists that every one of her babies is thoroughly washed.
Daisey's puppies have a great life drinking and sleeping!  Polly's puppies know that sleeping is a time for growing.  At this age, each week, the puppies are growing twice their size.
At 31/2 weeks, Daisey's puppies enjoy the "All You can Eat Buffet"
While, at just seven days younger, Polly's puppies prefer to drink at the bar!
Daisey's puppies are nearly 7 weeks old. They have been clipped and bathed, wormed and given their first shots. Their potty training is on schedule, all of the puppies go out side during the day. Soon they will be dry during the night. All of the puppies come to the call of Pup-Pup-Pup. Coming when called and house-training is made easy when established early. What a difference a week makes. You can see that Polly's puppies are smaller than Daisey's but they are rapidly catching up.  These puppies will soon receive their first shots. They have already been wormed, clipped and bathed. 2 of Polly's black puppies are going to be blue (dark gray) like Polly. 2 are going to be silver like Merlin.  Can you see one of the two 'Caniche' (European sized std) puppies in this litter?  It is the little blue puppy on the right.
Daisey's cream puppies have dark noses and eyes. 
 "We look just like Daisey, our Mom."
Polly's litter also go to potty outside, most of the time.
".....I know it was me that had the accident but can't I just blame it on the little one?"
