At five weeks the puppies got their first hair cuts and bath. They were very brave and unconcerned with the noisy
clippers and hair dryer. Lola no longer feeds the puppies because the antibodies in her milk would destroy the puppy shots
given at six weeks. The pups enjoy visitors and greet everyone enthusiastically. They follow on walks to investigate the yard
and want to taste test everything, especially shoes and toes. They are experts at undoing shoe laces. They grow considerably
each week and now have better coordination when they run. Just occassionally they will run too fast and trip over. They get
up immediately looking surprised and embarrassed. They love to climb a few steps and jump off. The world is an exciting play
ground for them and they love to explore.
