Some of our poodles like to look beautiful....
Some of our dogs like to be athletes......
Some of our dogs like to stay with family (Penelope
and daughter).... Some of our dogs have long tails to wag.....Some have short tails ......
China,
is Merlin's litter sister. Who said beauty, brains and attitude isn't inherited? Another "perfect child"! (She now has a niece to train.)
It is always hard for me to part with our babies to new loving homes. Buying
a puppy is like adopting a child. The longevity of our particular line is something that should be considered carefully before
taking on the responsibility of ownership. We would like to thank the owners of our dogs, who,
after giving our "babies" long, happy homes, have made the difficult choice to end their pets lives, painfree and
with dignity, when the quality of life has deteriated. A little observation..We have the joy
of seeing little quirks and characteristics continuing in our line, generation after generation. Sometimes a puppy
has the cute nose wrinkling smile of g.g.g.grandma or the toe nibbling of grandpa, the amazing door unlocking of g.g.grandma
or the placid, perfect child nature of Dad. The dogs we breed today remind us constantly of ones we owned more than fifty
years ago.I believe the essence of those old dogs are still with
us in the DNA of the dogs we have today.
